Their purpose is to better describe the aspects of our intentions.
Maui Arts & Music Association, aka M.A.M.A., promotes music & art, including visual & media arts, healing arts, and performance art and cultural arts, and Environmental solutions. Along with cultivating creativity and helping artists and musicians share their talents, the higher purpose of MAMA is to draw initial attention through Arts & Music in order to educate supporters about economic and environmental solutions designed to protect and restore our world, starting with Maui amd Hawaii.
• OUR MISSION / VISION : is to promote art, music and the cultures of the world to fund research and development in environmental solutions, thereby creating jobs & effectively diversifying the economy.
We seek to inspire individuals and organizations to join together and take action to create a better world at peace that is economically stable, environmentally sustainable, and full of hope.
We seek to encourage and promote renewable energy and environmental solutions and through income derived from art, music and cultural projects, create socially responsible solutions that deliver environmental and economic prosperity and peace worldwide.
A nonprofit organization that…chooses to support creating more events and activities that will attract the world to come back to Maui because of the Aloha Spirit and positive morale of people working together to re-generate their world through Example.
P.A.P.A. is People Aligned in Positive Action. It’s the helping each other, supporting each other through the creation of jobs and uplifting and informative programs to educate and elevate the spirit. Taking our positive ideas and actually doing something creates an uplifting feeling and inspiration to co-operate in ways that create a better world for all.

Jason & partner Airielle Pearson have been doing television shows, sharing local and island guests since the early 1990’s to present as MAMA Presents, MAMA Loves to Eat, Airielle’s World, and The NEUTRAL Zone, to this day.
2025, three decades since these ideas were to be brought forward at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center at its opening New Years Eve Gala, booked by Jason Schwartz. BUT, political forces at the time actually blocked local support, as Jason was an outspoken Green Party candidate the year prior, and the Chamber of Commerce supported the then Republican regime and torpedoed planned coordination of sponsorship by their newly hired Executive Director with our planned event.
Three decades later, “Green” ideas and efforts towards self sustainability are NOW much more urgent and much more understood as critical for the islands AND the world.
Jason has initiated a campaign where he DONATES 60% of his Adjusted Gross Income from Real Estate Sales at MauiCoastProperty to fund music and art shows, environmental and cultural awareness projects.

Sharing the vision of the world in which we choose to live- this is the most important single answer we want to convey to the people of the world. If we choose to change the paradigm under which the political system exists, we MUST keep our sights on how we want the world to be and must work to take ideas for what the future can be, and act from this vision in all we do, no matter how challenging it may be to do so.
We hold a vision of a world where we have all the answers for all the people. We can have development and responsible environmental choices in the same programs. We can cooperate and make lots of money, so often the commodity we all need in this world, and bring the bickering to an end.
We can foster goodwill and economic assistance between the large economic powerhouses and environmental progressives, like me. We can marry the old and wise ideas and traditions of a past Hawaii with the high tech futuristic solutions of today and tomorrow.
There can be answers to all of the problems we face.
We simply must HOLD THAT VISION and take ACTION!
Vision, desire and action all walk hand in hand. When there is vision, we create what we see!
It is NOW, not some future unreachable hope!
